Transporter Toslink Receiver Broken

After a number of connection/disconnection cycles, as well as few blind mis-keyed connection attempts of my toslink fiber-optic cable-connector, the input toslink connector/receiver on my Transporter ended up becoming pushed-back into its rear panel and out of alignment. Upon removing the cover of the Transporter and realigning the toslink receiver assembly to the rear panel, I noticed that the toslink receiver part was very lose in the rear panel opening due to internal damage.

It's too bad that the Transporter’s toslink receiver's mounting is totally dependent on its bottom-only attachment to the small digital-input circuit board located just under the toslink receiver. This is especially unfortunate since there is a small unused rear-panel screw-boss molded into the top of toslink receiver itself which is designed to provide the necessary support that would have prevented this issue in the first place. All that was needed is a small hole to be precisely drilled into the real panel in which a screw could be placed to firmly attach the receiver to real panel, just like you see on most other and much less-expensive toslink equipped devices This is an easy DIY retrofit that will protect the toslink receiver from damage in which I would recommend for those who are skillfully confident.

But anyway, for my Transporter, it's water-under-the-bridge now. Since the toslink receiver is damaged, it must be replaced. The problem is the that I cannot find that part or a near equivalent. No luck finding anything at Digi-Key, Mouser, Newark, or eBay.

The toslink receiver part is made by Ceranate and the part number is RX179AF.

Anyone have any suggestions as to an equivalent replacement?

Thanks
