SW1 and SW2 on SB receiver

Hi guys,
I noticed there is an SW1 (the existing button) and a SW2 (empty holes on the pcb) on the pcb of my receiver. Do these two have the same function?
I am building the pcb into a bigger enclosure and will use a button on the outside of the bigger enclosure to control the SB.

Same thing for the led... I am still searching for a way to replace the led with a similar through-hole led which I can mount on the front panel of the enclosure.... can't find any 4-legged multicolor leds though...
