Stand Alone Music Server using Wandboard Quad

I'm thinking of adding a 2.5" Sata disk to my Wandboard Quad to make a (hopefully small) stand alone music server and have a couple of questions for anyone who's actually done this:

What enclose / box / case did you use? Any recomendations would be very welcome.

What flavour of Linux did you use? I was originally planning to use SOA but this seems to a bit of a dead end at the moment.
